We are looking for multiple people with various levels of experience and skills, qualifying for most of the following requirements:
BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments, with 5+ years required for senior-level positions
Strong software engineering fundamentals with proficiency in Python and experience building scalable, maintainable codebases
Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries, with the ability to implement and optimize models for production use
Basic experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), particularly AI/ML and data services
Less senior: Excellent collaboration skills and experience working with diverse teams including data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders
More senior: Experience leading cross-functional collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to translate complex business requirements into practical AI solutions

It would be ideal if you also have:
Deep interest in or experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies
Bring experience from agile environments or tech-driven transformation projects
Familiarity with agent development frameworks such as AutoGen, CrewAI, LangGraph or similar and multi-agent system coordination
Knowledge of agent testing methodologies, performance monitoring and maintaining agent reliability in production environments
Have professional experience from working in regulated industries, i.e. Banking, Government, etc.

About the role 
We offer a PhD position in measurement technology focused on condition monitoring using multimodal sensor systems for anomaly detection and classification with machine learning.

The research for the service is carried out in close collaboration with national and international partners.

The focus of the position is in the area of anomaly detection and classification with machine learning.  The service may also include implementation aspects of machine learning models on edge devices. Work can be experimental and theoretical in nature and includes data collection, development and verification of models, and generalization of solutions.

Basic eligibility is for those who have completed an advanced level degree or completed course requirements of at least 240 higher education credits, of which at least 60 higher education credits at advanced level or have acquired essentially equivalent knowledge in some other way within or outside the country. Those who have at least 90 higher education credits in electrical engineering, computer engineering subjects closely related to these, or who have acquired substantially equivalent knowledge in any other way within or outside the country, have special eligibility.

Who are you?
In addition to the formal eligibility requirements, the selection will also be based on the relevance of prior knowledge for working with sensor technology and machine learning, relevance in thesis work, project work, courses and interviews with the applicants. Signal processing, use multimodal sensor system and experience with various machine learning models are seen as an advantage.  Personal qualities such as cooperativeness, initiative and suitability for doctoral studies will be weighed against formal subject knowledge. A brief description of the applicant's visions and goals must be included in the application.

Your role We seek a highly motivated PhD candidate to join an exciting research collaboration at the Industrial Systems Department at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, as part of the GEMINI project, funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) through the Research Institute PhD Grant. The selected candidate will be employed and primarily based at RISE, while being formally enrolled as a PhD student at the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering (DET), Mid Sweden University, Sundsvall, Sweden.
The PhD student will conduct the research within an active, interdisciplinary environment and can collaborate with leading international universities and Swedish companies. The PhD research under GEMINI aims to develop innovative mobile intelligence solutions for next-generation 6G networks, focusing on building adaptive, trustworthy, and explainable AI-driven systems for real-time mobile communications.
Who Are You? We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with:
A Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of wireless and mobile communication networks, AI/ML, stochastic processes, and optimization techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
A strong interest in 5G/6G technology, edge intelligence, and ethical, explainable AI systems.
Experience in one or more of the following domains is highly desirable: software-defined radio (SDR) platforms, AIOps (Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations), advanced signal processing, real-time embedded systems, teleoperation frameworks, or edge intelligence technologies.

miun.se/stc) söker en Postdoktor inom tillämpad maskininlärning. Forskningen kommer att genomföras tillsammans med industriella partners i ett större projekt som integrerar teknologiutmaningar inom sensorteknik för industriella och medicinska tillämpningar.

Arbetsuppgifter
Vi erbjuder en postdoktortjänst inom tillämpad maskininlärning för ljudmätning och ljudklassificering. Tjänsten kan inriktas mot områdena djupinlärning för ljudanalys, djupinlärning för ljud i mätningar, samt implementering av maskininlärning på inbyggda system. Tjänsten är kopplad till samverkande forskargrupper med verksamhet inom tillståndsövervakning, ljudanalys och bildanalys samt inbyggda system. Forskningen för tjänsten genomförs i nära samarbete med nationella och internationella samarbetspartners.

Fokus för tjänsten ligger inom området djupinlärning för karakterisering och positionering av ljud. Tjänsten kan även innehålla implementeringsaspekter av maskininlärningsmodeller på inbyggda system. Arbete kan vara av experimentell och teoretisk karaktär och inkludera datainsamling, utveckling och verifiering av modeller samt generalisering av lösningar.

Behörighet och bedömningsgrund
Den som ska anställas som postdoktor ska vara behörig enligt de krav som beskrivs i https://www.miun.se/anstallningsordning. För att kvalificera dig för en anställning som postdoktor krävs att du innehar en doktorsexamen eller motsvarande utländsk examen inom relevant forskningsområde. Din examen får inte vara äldre än 3 år från ansökningstidens utgång: Men, till exempel, kan sjukfrånvaro och/eller föräldraledighet dras från femårsperioden.

För denna position krävs det att du har en doktorsexamen i elektronik, elektroteknik, datateknik eller närliggande område samt har tidigare akademisk erfarenhet inom maskininlärning.

Forskningscentret STC utannonserar en ledig postdoktoral tjänst inom experimentell forskning för att designa end-to-end anslutningsinfrastruktur för att stödja fjärrstyrda tidskritiska applikationer över trådlösa 5G-nätverk.

Forskningsuppgiften är en del av projektet robust trådlös infrastruktur för fjärrstyrd timmerlastning i samarbete med Ericsson, Telia och Volvo. STC söker kontinuerligt efter att anställa mycket motiverade och framstående forskare för att arbeta med att möjliggöra teknologier för nästa generations trådlösa kommunikationsnätverk.

Forskningen kommer att bedrivas inom forskargruppen Kommunikationssystem och nätverk (CSN), som är specialiserad på undervisning, forskning och innovation inom området trådlös och trådbunden kommunikation och nätverksteknologier, speciellt för industriella applikationer. CSN gruppen har en dynamisk och internationell miljö, som syftar till att producera akademisk forskning på hög nivå samtidigt som man upprätthåller ett tätt samspel med relevanta industriella partners. Den sökande ska aktivt samarbeta med andra forskare inom forskargruppen, på STC-forskningscentret, men även med våra externa partner inom den akademiska och industriella världen.

Arbetsuppgifter
Tjänsten är avsedd för lovande forskare med drivkraften att flytta kunskapsgränserna inom området avancerade trådlösa nätverk mot 6G, med särskild tonvikt på ett (eller flera) av följande områden: maskininlärning för intelligenta trådlösa nätverk, spektrumhantering, decentraliserat lärande, tidskritiska nätverk, grön (energieffektiv) kommunikation och lärande. Arbetsuppgifterna inkluderar teoretisk modellering och analys, algoritmdesign och validering via simuleringar men helst genom HW/SW-prototyper (SDR, OpenAirInterface, srsLTE, etc.), nätverksmätningar och analys, effektiv radioresursallokering, och att skriva vetenskapliga artiklar i erkända tidskrifter och konferenser. Anställningen kan också innefatta undervisning och andra administrativa uppgifter, såsom stöd till projektledning och skriva nya forskningsförslag för att locka industriella, nationella och europeiska projekt, men inte mer än 20% av arbetstiden.

Behörighet
Den som ska anställas som postdoktor ska vara behörig enligt de krav som beskrivs i https://www.miun.se/anstallningsordning, det vill säga fil. dr. eller likvärdig utländsk examen, och denna ska ha erhållits högst tre år innan ansökningsdatum (sjukfrånvaro och föräldraledighet räknas dock bort från denna treårsperiod). 

För denna tjänst krävs en fil. dr i signalbehandling, datorteknik, trådlös kommunikation eller ett närliggande ämne.

Bedömningsgrunder
Den sökande som ges tjänsten måste ha en enastående meritlista av publikationer i topptidskrifter inom ett eller flera av forskargruppens forskningsområden och visat på självständighet och spetskompetens inom forskning. Den idealiska kandidaten för tjänsten bör ha en gedigen bakgrund inom minst två av följande områden:

• Experimentell trådlös forskning (testbäddar och/eller kanal/nätverksmätningar)

• Trådlösa kommunikationssystem, speciellt inom fysiska lagret och medium access-protokoll

• Tekniker för radioåtkomstnätverk (RAN) och nätverksdelning

Vidare krävs goda färdigheter inom något eller några av språken Matlab, C++ och Python samt gärna även erfarenhet av SDR och verktyg för nätverksanalys. Goda kunskaper i engelska, i tal och skrift, krävs för att kommunicera, presentera och publicera forskningsresultat.

Personliga egenskaper
Den sökande som ges tjänsten ska vara kapabel att självständigt bedriva forskning inom tidigare nämnda områden och bör kombinera god analytisk förmåga med en bra attityd till praktiskt genomförande samt intresse att samarbeta med forskarstuderande.

RISE is today engaged in several applied digitalization projects and are now expanding. We are looking for software developers to aid in our projects. We have an open position in Sundsvall, Sweden.

About the position
In this role you will use programming and algorithmic methods to glue together the latest research within data science, AI and IoT applications to enhance digitalization, autonomous systems, cyber-physical systems and edge computing, among others. All these while collaborating with industry, the public sector, and academia.

Experience with some programming languages such as Javascript with for example NodeJS, C#, R or Python is necessary, as is a passion for working on solving real world problems in various application domains.

In this role, you will work with an agile methodology in a team that has overall responsibility over the whole life cycle of several applied digitization projects. You contribute actively by conducting research, developing software and presenting the right solutions along with development of new and existing products and services. You will also carry out research in collaboration with other research groups and partners. The team's focus is to utilize data and add innovative new insights and application features to the customer's business needs. You will also take part in the design of digitalization solutions and work with product development, prototyping, Proof-of-Concepts (PoC) and Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

Who are you?
The ideal candidate for this position should have a master’s degree in computer science/engineering and at least a few years of software development experience. Preferably, this includes working with recent software development and digitalization techniques including adapting them to various application areas. The ideal candidate should have some experience with data science, machine learning, Internet of Things, and big data.

- You should have excellent communication skills in English, which is critical to succeeding in the team.
- It is meriting to have project management experience and excellent communication skills in Swedish.
